Epilogue

After they got over the initial shock of losing Nick, the guys focused on the future. Could their success really still thrive after the lose of Nick? Brian got his strength back, or what he would say it should be Nick's. They never talked about Nick much while Brian was around, it had only been about two weeks, and the funeral was only a week ago. But Brian still didn't seem to be able to deal with it, something was in the way, and no one knew what; not even Brian?

"Brian can I talk to you?" Aaron said walking into Brian's room.

"Sure buddy you can talk to me about anything." Brian resposonded patting the place on the bed where he could take a seat.

"I forgot to tell you something."Aaron said looking at Brian, "Nick had written a song before he left and told me to sing it, but I can't." Aaron continued starting to cry.

"Why not?" Brian asked wiping the tears.

Brian then remembered all the times he had to wipe tears from Nick's eyes when he was Aaron's age.

"Because I'm not the only one who misses him, Brian, I want you to sing with me." Aaron said staring, as if into Brian's soul.

Brian just sat there for a moment, how could he turn him down, he was the closest thing he had to Nick left, and noone seemed to understand. "I will, whatever you need, I will" Brian said hugging Aaron.

Brian and Aaron recorded the duet, as well as singing it at Nick's memorial service. They released it as a single and then the Backstreet Boys went their seperate ways. Occasionally you could see one of them here and there in the public eye. Kevin had become a producer, AJ his first performer. Howie continued his real estate buisness, while Brian married and moved back to Kentucky to be close to home. Aaron soon moved in and him and Brian became as close as he and Nick. Brian knew he could not replace Nick, he could never be Aaron's brother. He knew that he could help ease the pain, at least he'd try for Nick. Brian's heart soon failed on him and he joined Nick in heaven. It was a shock, noone expected him to up and die, not even his doctor. But Aaron had died in a car accident about three weeks before Brian died, and no one, until Kevin, related the deaths. They played the song that they recorded together for someone they were being reunited with.

I'll Be There For You

Don't say a word

I understand

You wanna know

If I'm still your man

Can't you tell

By the touch of my hand

I'm gonna be there

Anyway that I can

I'll hold you, hold you

Love you, love you

I'll never let your love go

Let you go, let you go

For always, for always

I'll stay, I'll stay

Just look in my eyes and you'll know

Chorus:

I'll be there for you

Wherever you go

Whatever you do

I've got forever inside

For all of my life

I'll be there for you

Don't ever doubt

Your trust in me

I'll give you my heart

So honestly

Deep in my soul

You'll find a dream

I'll never change

I promise you

Chorus:

I'll be there for you

Wherever you go

Whatever you do

I've got forever inside

For all of my life

I'll be there for you

Nothing and no one can tear us apart

You'll always be here inside of my heart

And just as sure as the stars shine above

No matter what happens

You can count on my love

Chorus:

I'll be there for you

Wherever you go

Whatever you do

I've got forever inside

For all of my life

I'll be there for you
